Imaging
Diagnostic imaging involves a variety of medical imaging techniques. Complex equipment with powerful computers are used to produce images of the inside of a patient's body. These images assist in the diagnosis and treatment of illness. Radiographers obtain radiographic images, Sonographers perform ultrasound examinations and nuclear medicine technologists are trained to acquire functional images of the body.
Appointments
VHMI operates an appointment system and patients should telephone our reception staff or complete the online booking form to arrange an appointment time. Patients without an appointment who require urgent attention are seen as soon as possible after discussion between the referring doctor and radiologist.
What You Must Tell Us
Before your examination you must inform our staff if: You suspect or know that you may be pregnant, You have ever experienced a severe reaction to a previous injection of contrast media, You are allergic to any prescribed medication
Your Safety
